Let’s be honest. When Gaia-X is ready, it will be a challenge for companies, NGOs or governmental organizations to run a platform or SaaS (Software as a Service). There will be a lot to be considered as to infrastructure, programming, legal and regulatory requirements to meet the standards set by Gaia-X.
In addition, it is to be expected that the requirements will be continuously updated, so that each solution will also have to be adapted.
Venture Leap supports the idea of Gaia-X.
We embrace the core elements of Gaia-X such as
- a next generation, decentralised data infrastructure for Europe with common standards.
- meeting the highest standards in terms of data sovereignty.
- a trustworthy, secure and transparent data infrastructure that can be used to exchange and process data.
- establishing a digital ecosystem that allows for the development of innovative products and helps European companies, governmental and non-governmental organization and business models scale up and be globally competitive.
The last point is where Venture Leap comes in. To enable companies, NGOs and GOs to launch and run their new business models more efficiently, securely and future ready for Gaia-X, Venture Leap has developed a modular platform called LEAP.one. For user management, engagement as well as process and data management, we have developed and continuously improved around 15 modules that already meet the high GDPR requirements. Currently, more than 100 companies, governmental institutions and NGOs run their applications based on the LEAP.one platform.
As soon as the Gaia-X requirements are defined, the modules in our customers’ solutions will be updated accordingly. For example, the requirements for data sovereignty and the interfaces for the availability of data will be given without the operator having to reprogram, test or adapt his portal, platform or SaaS solution for this himself.
Our goal is to break down the barriers companies may face when developing a business model for a digital platform or SaaS.
Development with 80% ready to use modules
Another advantage of ready to use modules is the efficiency of developing a digital solution. After a short time and at a lower cost than if everything had to be completely reprogrammed, customers have an MVP (minimum viable product) at their disposal. This MVP enables the organisation to test its digital model and optimise it further.
The further development of the platform or SaaS is also optimised through the standardised development process.
Implementation of digital business models as a monthly subscription service
A new digital business model offers opportunities and risks. Many concepts are not implemented because their outcome is uncertain. To avoid missing opportunities, companies and other organisations need maximum flexibility to implement their digital business model.
With the Venture Leap development subscription, customers can flexibly
their digital business model on a monthly basis.
